Biography

Prof. Ramzi Madi is a professor of law, lawyer, researcher, author, and legal consultant with over three decades of experience in various fields of commercial law, intellectual property rights, information technology law, and legal issues related to biotechnology. He currently serves as the Deputy Dean of the College of Law at Al Ain University in Abu Dhabi, and has established himself as one of the leading specialists in his field through extensive research, scholarly publications, and the provision of specialized legal consultations.

He began his academic journey at the University of Jordan, then pursued graduate studies at Al al-Bayt University, before obtaining his Ph.D. from the University of Aberdeen in the United Kingdom. This academic diversity has provided him with a comprehensive and well-rounded understanding of both the Latin (civil law) and Anglo-Saxon (common law) legal systems.

Throughout his career, Prof. Madi has authored numerous scholarly studies and books on contemporary topics in intellectual property law, e-commerce regulation, and artificial intelligence in legal contexts. His work has been published in internationally peer-reviewed scientific journals indexed in the Scopus database, and he has participated in various local and international conferences.

In addition to his academic expertise, Prof. Madi has practiced law for many years and has provided diverse legal consultations to several governmental entities and private sector organizations, as well as expert advisory reports.
